Interesting Survey from eQuest

eQuest Reports Best Days to Post Jobs on the Internet & Candidate Viewing Patterns

"The results were based on activity from January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007.

Unlike 2006, where candidates preferred viewing and responding to jobs during the lunch hour on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the 2007 report indicates that candidates are now searching steadily throughout the week, with a significant decline in search activity over the weekend.

Specifically, eQuest’s 2007 data shows that Monday through Friday registered a consistent 18% daily viewing share of the total week’s activity. Saturday and Sunday declined to 5% per day."

We have seen this pattern develop also...any ideas on why this may be happening?

Feel free to post with your ideas!
